How to make Slow Cooker Beef Brisket

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees F. Using foil or parchment paper, line a baking sheet. Using a nonstick spray, grease the slow cooker inserts.

Step 2: In the meantime, pat dry the brisket. Reduce the length of the brisket if it is too long to fit the slow cooker.

Step 3: In a small bowl, place the brown sugar, paprika, and onion powder. Mix well until combined. Evenly rub the brisket with the mixture and place the brisket on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.

Step 4: Into the slow cooker, whisk the barbecue sauce, 1 cup water, and Worcestershire sauce.

Step 5: Once the brisket is done baking, transfer it into the slow cooker. Cover and set to cook for 8 to 10 hours, turning the meat halfway through.

Step 6: On a foil-lined baking sheet, transfer the brisket once cooked and brush with the barbecue sauce. Broil the brisket for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Step 7: Remove from the oven when done and slice the grain thinly. Chop and serve the beef brisket with barbecue sauce. Enjoy!
