Fruit Toppings
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced Fresh strawberries give the best flavor.
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries Fresh blueberries yield the best results.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until creamy.
  3. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt. Mix again until smooth.
  4. Fold in whipped topping or whipped cream for a lighter, fluffier dip.
  5. Spoon the dip into a serving bowl or shallow platter.
  6. Top with sliced strawberries on one side and blueberries on the other, leaving a little white space in the middle.
  7. Chill for 15 to 30 minutes if time allows, or serve immediately.

Notes

Make ahead by prepping the cream cheese base up to 2 days in advance. Store it covered in the fridge. You can also prep the fruit earlier in the day.
