Ingredients
  

Creamy Base
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened Let sit out for 20 to 30 minutes for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream or Greek yogurt For a lighter, tangier texture.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar Use freshly shredded cheese for smoother melting.
  • 3-4 pcs Jalapeños, chopped Use fresh for crunch or pickled for tang.
Seasonings
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Smoked paprika (optional) For an extra kick.
Finishings
  • 4 slices Cooked bacon, chopped Cook until crisp; save some for topping.
  • 2 tbsp Sliced green onions (optional) For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, half of the shredded cheese, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Stir in most of the chopped bacon, saving a little for the top.
Baking
  1. Spoon the mixture into a baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and bacon on top.
  3. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Broil for an additional 1 to 2 minutes for extra browning if desired.

Notes

You can prepare this dip ahead of time by mixing the ingredients, covering, and refrigerating. Bake straight from the fridge, adding 5 to 10 minutes to bake time. This dip is best served with tortilla chips, pita chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.
