Preparation
- Mix the vanilla instant pudding with cold milk as per package instructions and let it sit for a few minutes.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped topping to the cream cheese mixture.
Assembly
- Layer the cake cubes at the bottom of a large bowl.
- Add a layer of the cream mixture on top of the cake.
- Spoon the pudding mixture over the cream layer.
- Sprinkle the crunchy layer (toffee bits or crushed cookies) on top.
- Repeat the layers until the bowl is full, finishing with a layer of crunch.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving to let the flavors meld.
