  • 1.75 cups All purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Mini chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate Mini chips distribute better.

Preparation
  1. Mix the softened butter and powdered sugar in a bowl until fluffy.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  3. Stir in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt until combined.
  4. Fold in the mini chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate.
  5. If the dough feels sticky, chill it in the refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Scoop and quickly roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cookies cool for about 5 minutes on the tray.
  4. While warm, roll the cookies in powdered sugar.
  5. Once cooled, roll them again in powdered sugar for a brighter finish.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months. You can roll cookie dough into balls and freeze for later baking. Variations: Add chopped nuts, espresso powder, or peppermint extract for different flavors.
