Ingredients
  

For the cheesecake filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened Full fat gives the best texture.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Sweetens without feeling gritty.
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder Adds deep chocolate flavor.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Enhances flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled Whip for a fluffy texture.
For the layers
  • 3 cups brownie chunks or chocolate cake Homemade or store-bought, both are fine.
  • 2 cups crushed cookies Oreos or chocolate graham crackers work well.
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding (optional) Adds extra creaminess for larger servings.
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or shaved chocolate For topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut brownies or cake into bite-sized chunks and crush cookies.
  2. If using pudding, prepare it first so it can chill.
Make the filling
  1. Beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip cold heavy cream until it forms soft peaks.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate cream cheese mixture gently.
Layering
  1. Add brownie chunks to the bottom of the bowl, then a layer of cheesecake filling, followed by cookies, and pudding if using.
  2. Repeat the layers until the bowl is full, usually 2 to 3 times.
Finishing touches
  1. Top with a generous layer of chocolate cheesecake filling, then add shaved chocolate, mini chocolate chips, or crushed cookies.
  2. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

You can vary the flavors by adding cherry pie filling or instant espresso powder. Cover and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
