Preparation
- Brown the ground beef in a pan, breaking it into small pieces. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Drain excess grease and let it cool.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, a splash of vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Adjust to taste.
Layering
- In a wide-mouth jar, layer the ingredients starting with a few spoonfuls of sauce at the bottom.
- Add pickles, onions, and tomatoes next.
- Then layer the shredded cheese over the beef.
- Top with shredded iceberg lettuce.
- Optionally, add sesame seeds and croutons on top.
Serving
- When ready to eat, shake the jar to mix or pour into a bowl. Enjoy fresh!
Notes
Cool the beef before layering to prevent wilting the lettuce. Store in the fridge for 3-4 days for best freshness.
