Method
Preparation of the crust
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, melted butter, and salt in a bowl.
- Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- Optionally, bake for 8 minutes for extra firmness.
Preparation of the filling
- In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add sour cream and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- Fold in heavy cream or whipped topping.
- Mix in strawberry powder and jam, ensuring even distribution.
- Taste and adjust flavor if needed.
Assembly
- Pour filling over the chilled crust, smoothing the top.
- Chill the cake for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
- Just before serving, add the strawberry crunch topping on top.
Notes
For best results, keep the crust cool while preparing the filling. If using fresh strawberries, reserve them for garnish only.
