Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel.
- Season both sides of the salmon with salt, pepper, and optional paprika or red pepper flakes.
Cooking
- Place the salmon in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between the pieces.
- Cook at 400°F for 7 to 10 minutes, depending on thickness. Typically, around 8 to 9 minutes will suffice.
- While the salmon cooks, melt butter and stir in minced garlic, optionally adding lemon juice.
Finishing
- Once cooked, spoon the warm garlic butter over the salmon.
- Let it sit for 1 minute to allow the butter to soak in.
Notes
Pick similar thickness fillets for even cooking. Resting helps the juices settle, and using fresh garlic gives the best flavor. If using frozen salmon, thaw first for better texture.
