  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or blend) A good melter for best results.
  • 1 cup fillings (cooked chicken, beans, veggies, leftover steak) Use any leftovers or your favorites.
  • 1 teaspoon butter or oil Optional for brushing for extra crispy edges.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the waffle maker.
  2. Lay one tortilla on the waffle maker.
  3. Sprinkle an even layer of cheese on top.
  4. Add your desired fillings on top of the cheese.
  5. Add another layer of cheese on top of the fillings.
  6. Cover with a second tortilla.
Cooking
  1. Close the waffle maker and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are golden.
Serving
  1. Remove the quesadilla, cut into wedges, and serve with salsa or your favorite dip.
