Preparation
- Slice the cucumbers into coins, half moons, or long spears.
- Add cucumbers to a container with a lid.

- Pour in soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, honey or sugar (if using), garlic, chili crisp, and sesame seeds.
- Cover and shake for about 20 seconds, then taste and adjust flavors.
Marinating
- Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes to allow the cucumbers to soak up the flavor.
Serving
- Serve cold, either straight from the container or as a side dish.
Notes
You can customize the salad by adding more ingredients based on your preference. It can be made ahead of time, but it will get juicier as it sits.
