Ingredients
  

Cookie Base
  • 1 batch Sugar cookie dough (homemade or refrigerated) Use store bought for convenience or homemade for a richer flavor.
Filling Options
  • 1 cup Frosting, chocolate ganache, strawberry jam, lemon curd, whipped cream, or melted chocolate Select based on preference.
Toppings
  • to taste Sprinkles, heart candies, mini chocolate chips, or crushed freeze dried strawberries Optional decorative toppings.

Method
 

Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll the cookie dough into balls, about 1 tablespoon each, and place them in a greased mini muffin tin.
  3. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges look set and slightly golden.
  4. Once out of the oven, immediately press a dent in the center of each cookie to create the cup shape.
  5. Allow the cookie cups to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Filling
  1. Once cooled, fill each cup with your chosen filling.
Decoration
  1. Decorate with your selected toppings.

Notes

Store unfilled cookie cups in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Filled cups should be refrigerated depending on the filling type. For gifting, use mini paper liners.
