Creamy Filling Ingredients
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened for easy mixing.
  • 8 oz Whipped topping or homemade whipped cream Homemade should be whipped to soft peaks.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Adds dessert flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Strawberry pie filling or strawberry jam Optional, for a glossy layered look.

Preparation
  1. Cube the cake into bite-sized pieces, ensuring they are soft.
  2. Mix strawberries with sugar and let sit for 10 minutes to release juices.
  3. Whisk together the cream cheese, whipped topping, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Layer the ingredients in a dish: start with cake cubes, then strawberries, followed by the creamy filling. Repeat until ingredients are used up.
  5. Finish with extra strawberries on top and refrigerate.

Notes

For best results, chill the dessert for at least 2 hours, but overnight is ideal for flavor absorption. Serve with extra strawberry slices or a sprinkle of cookies for added texture.
