Ingredients
  

For the Cake Layers
  • 1 box Instant vanilla pudding mix Use instant for best results, do not use cook and serve.
  • 2 cups Cold milk To whisk with the pudding mix.
  • 1 tub Whipped topping Can substitute with homemade whipped cream if stable.
  • 1 package Graham crackers Used as layers in the cake.
For the Filling and Topping
  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries Sliced, adjust based on availability.
  • 1 jar Strawberry glaze or strawberry pie filling Used for the top layer.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk your instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk for about a minute until it starts to thicken.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until the mixture looks fluffy and smooth.
Layering
  1. In a 9x13 pan, lay down a single layer of graham crackers and break them to fit the edges.
  2. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the crackers.
  3. Add a layer of sliced strawberries, covering most of the surface.
  4. Add another layer of graham crackers, then the remaining pudding mixture.
  5. Top with one last layer of graham crackers.
  6. Spread the strawberry glaze or pie filling over the top.
Chill
  1. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

For decorating: add fresh strawberry fans, dollops of whipped topping, graham cracker crumbs, or white chocolate curls. To make it patriotic, layer with blueberries for holidays.
