- Set your cream cheese out for 20 to 30 minutes to soften. If you forget, you can microwave it for 10 seconds, but do not melt it.
- Chop the strawberries really small. If they are super juicy, blot them gently with a paper towel to avoid a runny spread.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Fold in the strawberries. Taste it. If it needs more sweetness, add a little more powdered sugar. If it tastes flat, add a tiny squeeze of lemon.
- Chill for 20 minutes if you can for the best flavor and texture.
