  • 1/2 cup whipped topping Use light or reduced-fat if desired.
  • 1/4 cup sugar Adjust based on sweetness of fruit.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional Mix-Ins
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple For extra tang.
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows For nostalgic flavor.
  • 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs To be added before serving for crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the whipped topping, sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and mix until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the sliced strawberries and bananas until the fruit is coated with the creamy mixture.
  4. If using, gently mix in any optional mix-ins such as crushed pineapple or mini marshmallows.
Serving
  1. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for best texture.
  2. Before serving, sprinkle the top with additional fruit or graham cracker crumbs for garnish.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. For the best flavor, add bananas right before serving.
