For the Punch
  • 4 cups 100% cranberry juice Bold tang; cranberry juice cocktail can be used for a sweeter option.
  • 2 cups limeade Bottled or frozen limeade concentrate, prepared according to label.
  • 4 cups sparkling water or lemon-lime soda Sparkling water keeps it less sweet, soda makes it more of a treat.
  • 2 slices fresh limes For garnish and added flavor.
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries Optional, but adds a nice touch and floats in the punch.
  • 2 cups ice Use lots of it or a large ice ring to melt slower.

Preparation
  1. Chill all ingredients in the fridge to keep the punch cold.
  2. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, pour cranberry juice and limeade.
  3. Stir well and taste. If it's too strong, add more limeade or water.
  4. Right before serving, gently stir in sparkling water or lemon-lime soda.
  5. Add ice, lime slices, and fresh cranberries if using.

Notes

Serve with a small bowl of sugar for additional sweetness. Add vodka or white rum for an adult version if desired. Use a clear pitcher for presentation and consider making an ice ring for a cute touch.
