Ingredients
  

For the Sliders
  • 12 pieces slider buns (Hawaiian rolls) These are slightly sweet and ideal for sliders.
  • 1 pound sausage Use breakfast sausage patties or cooked crumbles.
  • 8 large eggs Scrambled and set, not runny.
  • 8 slices cheese (cheddar, American, or pepper jack) Any melting cheese works well.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Melted, for brushing.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Season to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Season to taste.
  • optional garlic powder or everything seasoning For extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Split the slider buns in half as one sheet and lay the bottom half in a baking dish.
  3. Layer in the cooked sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese slices evenly over the buns.
  4. Place the top halves of the buns over the fillings.
  5. Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and tops are lightly golden.
  2. For a crispier top, uncover the sliders for the last few minutes of baking.
Serving
  1. Let the sliders rest for about 5 minutes before slicing to keep them neat.

Notes

These sliders can be made ahead of time and baked fresh in the morning. They can also be frozen and reheated for a quick breakfast option.
