- Cut the bread slices into sticks about 1 inch wide.

Cooking
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
- Dip each bread stick quickly in the egg mixture, coating all sides, but do not soak.
- Cook the sticks in batches for about 6 to 8 minutes, turning until golden brown on all sides.
- Keep warm in the oven at low heat while cooking the remaining sticks.
Serving

Notes
