  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup Optional, adjust to taste.

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, ice, lemonade, lemon juice, and honey or simple syrup.
  2. Blend in short bursts until well combined, ensuring the ice breaks up.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary, adding more honey if it is too tart.
  4. If your blender struggles, add a splash more lemonade and stir before blending again.
Serving
  1. Serve in chilled glasses, garnished with a lemon slice and a strawberry on a toothpick if desired.
  2. For texture, top with a tiny handful of crushed ice.

Notes

This slush is best enjoyed fresh. If made ahead, blend and freeze it in a container, then reblend before serving. Experiment with variations by using lime or mango, or making a sparkling version with lemon soda.
