Ingredients
  

For the Pretzel Bites
  • 24 pieces small square pretzels
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter Regular creamy peanut butter is easiest to use.
  • 12 pieces chocolate candies or melting wafers Chocolate kisses or melting wafers work great.
Optional Toppings
  • to taste sprinkles Add on top before the chocolate sets.
  • to taste flaky salt For a sweet salty punch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Lay out half of your pretzels on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Add a small dab of peanut butter on each pretzel, about half a teaspoon.
  3. Top each one with another pretzel to make sandwiches and press gently.
  4. Place one chocolate piece on each pretzel stack.
  5. Microwave in short bursts (15 seconds) until chocolate is glossy and soft, about 30 to 60 seconds total.
  6. Press down the chocolate slightly with a spoon or finger, and add sprinkles or salt if desired.
  7. Chill until set, about 20 minutes in the fridge or 10 minutes in the freezer.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge. They're good at room temperature for a couple of days, but chill for firmer chocolate.
