Ingredients
  

Peach Syrup
  • 2-3 pieces Fresh peaches, ripe and fragrant Use fresh peaches that smell sweet.
  • 0.75 cups Water For simmering with peaches.
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cups Sugar or honey Adjust based on sweetness preference.
Tea and Lemonade Base
  • 3-4 cups White tea Follow package directions to brew.
  • 0.75 cups Fresh lemon juice Roll lemons first for maximum juice.
  • to taste Ice For serving cold.
  • optional Pinch of salt Enhances the flavors.
  • optional Fresh mint or basil For garnish and added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Make a quick peach syrup: Slice 2 to 3 peaches and add to a pot with 0.75 cups of water and 1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar. Simmer on medium heat for about 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Brew 3 to 4 cups of white tea while the syrup simmers; let it cool to room temperature.
  3. Juice the lemons to obtain about 0.75 cups of fresh lemon juice.
  4. Combine the cooled tea, lemon juice, and peach syrup in a pitcher. Adjust sweetness and dilution by adding more water or sweetener as needed.
  5. Serve in glasses filled with ice and garnish with peach slices or herbs.

Notes

Can be made up to 2 days ahead and stored in the fridge. For a fizzy version, top with sparkling water before serving. Adjust sweetness according to personal taste.
