  • 3 cups Canned sliced or diced peaches Drain well if using canned peaches
  • 1 package Instant vanilla pudding mix This helps the fluff set up
  • 1 cup Whipped topping (like Cool Whip) Thawed
  • 1 cup Mini marshmallows Optional for added texture
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream or Greek yogurt Adds tanginess
Optional Mix-Ins
  • 1/2 cup Chopped pecans or walnuts Optional for added crunch
  • 1/2 cup Crushed vanilla wafers Optional for added texture

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Drain the peaches well and chop them into bite-sized pieces if they are sliced.
  2. In a big bowl, stir together the instant pudding mix and sour cream (or Greek yogurt) until combined.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping gently until it is smooth and fluffy.
  4. Stir in the peaches and mini marshmallows. If using nuts, add them at this step.
  5. Cover and chill for at least 1 to 2 hours before serving to allow it to set and the flavors to meld.

Notes

For best texture, drain peaches thoroughly to avoid a runny mixture. Chill well for the fluff to set properly. This dessert can be made the night before, but it may loosen slightly overnight.
