Preparation
- Crush the Oreo cookies. Place them in a zip bag and roll with a rolling pin or use a food processor. Save a small handful for topping.
- Mix most of the crushed cookies with melted butter and press into a 9×13 dish. Chill in the fridge while preparing the cream layer.
Cream Layer
- Beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in some of the whipped topping until well combined.
- Spread the cream layer evenly over the crust.
Pudding Layer
- Whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until it thickens. Let it sit for a minute to set.
- Spread the pudding layer over the cream layer.
Assembly
- Top with the remaining whipped topping and sprinkle reserved cookie crumbs on top.
- Chill the dessert for at least 4 hours, but overnight is better for clean slices.
Notes
For a lighter version, use light whipped topping and reduced fat cream cheese. If serving at a party, individual cups are a nice touch.
