Filling

  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce Warmed for swirling.

Method
 

Preparation of Crust
  1. Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie dish, starting with the sides.
  3. Chill the crust while you make the filling.
Preparation of Filling
  1. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add powdered sugar and beat until fluffy.
  3. Stir in vanilla and peanut butter until well combined.
  4. Fold in whipped topping gently, maintaining the light texture.
  5. Spread the filling into the chilled crust.
Swirling and Chilling
  1. Warm the hot fudge sauce until it is pourable.
  2. Spoon small pools of hot fudge over the filling and use a butter knife to create swirls.
  3. Chill the pie for at least 4 hours before slicing, preferably overnight.
Serving
  1. Optional: Drizzle additional fudge on top and sprinkle with chopped peanuts before serving.

Notes

For a cleaner slice, chill overnight. Piped whipped cream can be added as a border for presentation.
