  • 12-14 sheets Graham crackers Plain is best, honey works too.
  • 1 cup Creamy peanut butter Don't use natural peanut butter as it’s too runny.
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar Roughly, but add more if needed for texture.
  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted butter Melted.
  • 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract
Chocolate Coating
  • 1.5 cups Semisweet chocolate chips Or milk chocolate if preferred.
  • Coconut oil or shortening Optional, for thinning chocolate.

Preparation
  1. Smash the graham crackers with some texture, not finely crushed.
  2. Combine melted butter with creamy peanut butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar to form a thick mixture.
  3. Spread the peanut butter mixture onto the graham crackers generously.
  4. Freeze the layered crackers briefly to firm up the peanut butter layer.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a microwave until smooth.
  6. Dip or drizzle the chocolate over the chilled peanut butter graham crackers.
  7. Allow the chocolate to set on the counter or refrigerate for quicker results.

Notes

Let the chocolate set in cooler weather. Use wax paper for less mess. Don't rush the chilling process for better texture.
