- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together on low power until smooth, stirring frequently.
- In a large bowl, combine the Rice Krispies cereal.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and stir gently to coat all the pieces.
- Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the mixture and fold until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan, using your hands (sprayed with non-stick spray to prevent sticking).
Setting
- Let the treats chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before cutting.
Notes
Make sure to melt the chocolate and peanut butter mixture slowly to prevent burning. Use fresh cereal for the best crunch. Try adding cinnamon for a warm flavor or drizzling white chocolate on top for a gourmet touch.
