Preparation
- Crush the Mint Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter to form a crust.
- Press the crust firmly into a 9x13 inch dish and chill for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in whipped topping, reserve some for topping.
- Prepare the chocolate pudding mix with cold milk according to the package instructions and allow to thicken for about 2 minutes.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
- Layer the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with reserved whipped topping and crushed Mint Oreos.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Notes
For better results, pack the crust down tightly and avoid too much mint extract. Clean knife between cuts for neat slices. Store leftovers in the fridge or freeze for up to a month.
