Ingredients

Lobster Ingredients
  • 12 ounces lobster meat (lobster tails, claw, and knuckle meat) 4-6 ounces per person if serving with sides
Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted, with a knob reserved for finishing
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Add after cooking to keep sauce silky
  • 1 pinch smoked paprika For flavor enhancement
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes For a touch of heat if desired
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish
Serving Suggestions
  • 1 cup pasta or noodles To serve on the side
  • 1 loaf crusty bread Optional for a warm side
  • 1 serving arugula salad With lemon vinaigrette
  • 2 stalks asparagus Steamed, for additional greens

Method

Preparation
  1. Pat dry the lobster meat with paper towels to remove any moisture.
  2. Using kitchen scissors, snip the lobster tails and remove the meat, cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 20-30 seconds until fragrant, ensuring it does not brown.
  3. Add the lobster meat to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the pieces turn opaque and curl slightly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Finish with a small knob of cold butter for a glossy sauce and garnish with chopped parsley.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, spooning extra garlic butter sauce over the lobster bites. Pair with suggested sides.

Notes

Use a light hand with salt since both butter and lobster are naturally savory. Serve immediately for the best texture.
