Ingredients

Bread
  • 2 slices Soft rolls, sourdough, or thick sandwich bread Choose something sturdy
Turkey
  • 1 cup Leftover turkey, sliced or pulled Use dark meat for juiciness
Spread
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise, gravy, or a mix of both with cranberry sauce To keep the bread from getting soggy
Crunch
  • 1 cup Stuffing or pickles Pan crisp the stuffing for added texture
Optional Toppings
  • 1 slice Cheese (cheddar, provolone, or Swiss) For extra comfort
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard For added flavor
  • 1 handful Arugula For crunch and freshness

Method

Assemble Sandwich
  1. Warm the turkey gently in a pan or microwave with a splash of broth.
  2. Spread mayo or gravy on one slice of bread.
  3. Layer on the warm turkey, stuffing (or pickles), and optional toppings.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread, cut in half, and enjoy!

Notes

Store turkey in an airtight container and keep it separate from stuffing. Use a spread barrier to prevent sogginess. Reheat gently and serve with a side dish for a complete meal.
