Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces ripe kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 1 to 1.5 cups strawberries (fresh or frozen) Use frozen strawberries for a thicker slush.
  • 1 cup ice Reduce the amount if using frozen strawberries.
  • 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or sugar Optional, adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice Optional but enhances flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Add kiwi, strawberries, and liquid to the blender first.
  2. Blend until it starts to look smooth.
  3. Add ice and blend again until you achieve a slushy texture.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness with honey or citrus if desired.
  5. Pour into a glass and serve immediately while it is icy.

Notes

Chill your glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes to keep the slush from melting too quickly. You can use leftover slush to create popsicles or a breakfast bowl topped with granola.
