Preparation
- Mix the ground turkey with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Optionally add a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
- Grab a golf ball size lump of the turkey mixture and flatten it in your palm.
- Dollop cream cheese and a sprinkle of jalapeños and cheddar in the center.
- Flatten another small piece of turkey and lay it over the filling, then press the edges to seal.
Cooking
- Grill the patties over medium heat until the inside is no longer pink, approximately 6-7 minutes per side.
- Let the burgers rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
To enhance flavors, use moist ground turkey and be sure to seal the patties. Consider freezing formed, uncooked patties for later use.
