Preparation
- Place eggs in cold water, bring to a boil, cover, and remove from heat. Let sit for 11-12 minutes.
- Transfer eggs to ice water to cool and maintain yolk color. Peel gently.
Mixing Filling
- Slice each egg in half, remove yolks, and place in a bowl.
- Mash yolks with mayo, cream cheese, jalapeños, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and cheddar until chunky.
Filling Eggs
- Spoon or pipe the mixture back into egg whites.
- Top with additional bacon, cheese, or jalapeños for extra heat as desired.
- Store in the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving.
Notes
These deviled eggs can be made ahead of time. Store in an airtight container with plastic wrap pressed onto eggs to prevent drying out. Best consumed within 48 hours.
