Cooking the Beef
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
- Drain excess fat, leaving a little for flavor.
Making the Sauce
- Add minced garlic to the browned beef and sauté for an additional minute.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar and cornstarch.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and stir until everything is well coated and sauce thickens.
Assembly
- Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice.
- Top with cucumbers, shredded carrots, green onions, and sesame seeds.
Notes
For meal prep, store beef and rice in separate containers. Add crunchy toppings just before serving.
