Ingredients

Pizza Base
  • 1 lb Pizza dough Store-bought or homemade dough
Toppings
  • 1 cup Pineapple, fresh or canned Drain if using canned to reduce moisture
  • 8 oz Gammon, diced Savory ham preferred for flavor contrast
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded Mild flavor complements the toppings
  • 1/2 cup Tomato sauce Adjust sweetness to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Prepare the pizza dough according to the recipe or package instructions.
  3. If using canned pineapple, drain excess juice to prevent sogginess.
Assembly
  1. Roll out the dough to your desired thickness on a floured surface.
  2. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the base.
  4. Layer the diced gammon and pineapple over the sauce.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  2. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a crispier crust, consider using a pizza stone. Leftovers can be refrigerated for 3-4 days and reheated in the oven.
