Ingredients

Fruit Base
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen berries, mango, pineapple, peaches, kiwi, watermelon, banana Choose any combination of fruits based on preference and availability.
Liquid
  • 1 cup orange juice, apple juice, coconut water, milk, or oat milk Use your preferred liquid for blending.
Creamy Option
  • 1 cup plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, or canned coconut milk Add for a creamier texture.
Sweetener (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or dates Adjust based on the sweetness of the fruit.
Extras
  • 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice Enhances flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds For added texture and nutrition.
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut Optional, for tropical flavors.
  • a pinch salt Balances flavors.
  • a few sprigs fresh mint Optional, for garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Blend your mix: Add fruit, liquid, and yogurt to a blender. Blend until smooth, or leave a little chunky for texture.
  2. Taste it: Adjust sweetness by adding honey or a date if needed.
  3. Pour into molds: Leave a bit of space at the top for expansion during freezing.
  4. Add sticks: If your mold has built-in sticks, great. If not, cover with foil and poke sticks through to hold them upright.
  5. Freeze: Aim for at least 6 hours, but overnight is best for firmness.
Unmolding
  1. Run the outside of the mold under warm water for 10-20 seconds, then gently wiggle to remove the popsicle.

Notes

Use silicone molds for easier unmolding. If adding chunks of fruit, cut them small to avoid blocking the stick.
