Ingredients
  

For the cream soda
  • 1 cup cold sparkling water or plain club soda Use cold for best results.
  • 2-3 tablespoons simple syrup Add more for sweetness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Use high-quality vanilla for best flavor.
  • 1-2 teaspoons heavy cream or half and half Optional but adds richness.
  • 1 cup Ice To fill the glass.
For the simple syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar Granulated sugar.
  • 1/2 cup water To dissolve the sugar.

Method
 

Make the Simple Syrup
  1. Add sugar and water to a small pot, warm it gently, and stir until the sugar disappears.
  2. Let it cool completely.
Prepare the Cream Soda
  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of simple syrup and the vanilla extract. Stir gently.
  3. Slowly pour in the sparkling water to avoid foaming.
  4. If using, drizzle in the cream and give it a gentle stir.
  5. Taste and add more syrup if desired.

Notes

For flavor variations, consider adding strawberry syrup, orange juice concentrate, or cherry syrup to customize your soda. Always start with cold ingredients for the best fizz.
