Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats Use rolled oats for best texture.
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk (dairy or soy) Dairy milk has more protein.
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt Plain yogurt is recommended for sweetness control.
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds Optional, but makes oats thicker.
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or zero calorie sweetener) Add to taste.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances sweetness.
Flavor Variations
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter For Peanut Butter Banana flavor.
  • 1/2 banana mashed For Peanut Butter Banana flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder For Chocolate Strawberry flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a jar or container with a lid, stir together the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, sweetener, and a pinch of salt until evenly mixed.
  2. Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  3. Stir in a splash of milk if the mixture is too thick in the morning.
Flavoring
  1. Choose and add your desired flavor add-ins as mentioned.

Notes

For meal prep, prepare several jars at once and switch flavors throughout the week. Store in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
