Ingredients
  

Egg Filling
  • 6 large hard boiled eggs, peeled
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise Substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard Can be swapped with Dijon mustard.
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar or pickle juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Decoration
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream or thinned mayonnaise For spider web design.
  • to taste balsamic glaze or black gel food coloring mixed into mayo For dark lines.
  • Black olives for little spiders (optional) Cut in halves for bodies, and strips for legs.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice eggs in half lengthwise and pop yolks into a bowl.
  2. Mash yolks with mayo, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg white halves.
  4. Add thin circles of sour cream or thinned mayo on top of each egg.
  5. Use a toothpick to drag from the center outward to create a spider web design.
  6. Add dark lines using balsamic glaze or your preferred dark mix.
  7. For optional spider decorations, halve black olives for the body and use thin strips for legs.

Notes

Keep deviled eggs refrigerated and do not leave at room temperature for more than 2 hours. These can be made a day ahead; fill closer to serving time for best presentation.
