Ingredients
  

Base
  • 2 cups Graham crackers, crushed It’s OK if some pieces are chunky
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted Holds the whole thing together
  • 1/3 cup Brown sugar Adds caramel flavor
Toppings
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips or milk chocolate bars Use as much as desired
  • 2 cups Large marshmallows Mini works too, but big ones melt into nice puddles

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven.
  2. Mix crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and brown sugar in a bowl.
  3. Press the sandy mixture down into a lined baking pan.
  4. Scatter chocolate chips or slabs all across the crust.
  5. Layer whole or cut up marshmallows on top, pressing them down slightly.
Baking
  1. Bake until the marshmallows puff up and turn golden, about 15 to 18 minutes.
  2. Let the pan cool before slicing.

Notes

These bars taste even better the next day. Store in an airtight container. If it's hot, refrigerate but take out a few minutes before serving. To freeze, wrap tightly, keeping in mind that marshmallows can alter texture.
