Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Corn on the cob (shucked, silk removed)
  • 4 tablespoons Butter (softened) Should spread easily
  • 4 cloves Fresh garlic (minced) or garlic powder Garlic powder can be used in a pinch
  • 1 cup Parmesan (grated) Use the kind in a wedge for better melting
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
Optional Ingredients
  • to taste Chopped parsley For garnish
  • 1 teaspoon Chili flakes Optional for added heat
  • 1 Lemon A squeeze for brightness
Equipment
  • 1 Heavy duty foil For wrapping the corn

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Tear off a sheet of foil for each cob, large enough to wrap it fully.
  3. Mix softened butter with garlic, a pinch of salt, and black pepper.
  4. Spread the butter mixture generously over each cob of corn.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan over the buttered corn just before wrapping.
  6. Wrap each cob into a packet, sealing the edges tightly.
Cooking
  1. Place the foil packets on the grill.
  2. Grill, turning every few minutes until the corn is hot and tender, about 12 to 18 minutes.
  3. Carefully open one packet to check if the corn is tender. If needed, wrap it back up and grill for another 3 to 4 minutes.

Notes

For best results, use heavy duty foil and ensure packets are sealed tight to lock in steam. Optional ingredients can enhance flavor as desired.
