- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment for easy cleanup.
- Cook the beef in a skillet with a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir in Worcestershire. Drain the fat to avoid sogginess.
- Stir in the chopped bacon and let everything cool for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. If it springs back, let it rest for a couple of minutes and try again.
- Spread the beef and bacon evenly on the dough, leaving a border. Sprinkle with cheese. Add pickles or mustard if desired.
- Roll tightly from the long side into a log and slice into 10 to 12 rounds.
- Place on the baking sheet. Mix melted butter and garlic, then brush generously on top.
- Bake for 14 to 18 minutes until puffed and golden. Cool for 3 minutes then serve warm.
