  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Optional, for added flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes Optional, for added heat.
Cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded Freshly shredded for best melt.
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated Add for extra flavor.
Optional Dipping Sauce
  • 1 small jar marinara sauce Great for dipping.
  • 1 small jar ranch dressing Another popular option.
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped Optional, for garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Stretch the dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Brush the dough evenly with melted garlic butter.
Assembly
  1. Top the dough with mozzarella and sprinkle parmesan on top.
  2. Add Italian seasoning and chili flakes if desired.
Baking
  1. Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 16 minutes, until cheese is bubbling and edges are golden.
  2. If the bottom needs more color, bake for an additional 2 minutes directly on the rack.
  3. Let cool for 3 minutes before slicing into sticks.
Serving
  1. Brush with a tiny extra layer of butter after baking for gloss and added garlic flavor.
  2. Serve with marinara sauce and ranch dressing on the side.

Notes

Shred your own cheese for best melt quality. Avoid using excessive butter to prevent sogginess. Let rest before slicing for cleaner cuts.
