Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 can Crescent roll dough Use the refrigerated kind
  • 8 oz Deli roast beef Or leftover roast beef sliced thin
  • 4 slices Cheese (provolone or Swiss) Use thicker slices for better melting
  • 1 packet Au jus mix Alternatively, use beef broth
  • 2 tbs Butter Optional for brushing
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder Optional for brushing
  • 1 tsp Onion powder Optional for brushing
  • 1 tsp Dried parsley Optional for brushing

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the temperature on the crescent roll package.
  2. Open the dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. On the wide end of each triangle, place a slice of cheese and a few folds of roast beef, then roll it up.
  4. Place the rolled crescent on a baking sheet with space between each one.
  5. If desired, brush the tops with melted butter and a pinch of garlic powder.
Baking
  1. Bake until golden brown and fragrant, then warm up the au jus for dipping.

Notes

For best results, avoid overfilling to prevent leakage. Let the rolls rest for 5 minutes after baking for better cheese melting. You can experiment with different fillings and sauces.
