Ingredients
  

Danish Base
  • 1 package Crescent roll dough Refrigerated, classic kind
Cream Cheese Filling
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Full fat, softened
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar To sweeten the filling
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract For bakery-style flavor
  • 1 cup Blueberries Fresh or frozen, do not thaw
Optional Icing
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar Plus a splash of milk or lemon juice to thin

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. Arrange triangles on the pan with a little space between them.
  4. Mix softened cream cheese with sugar and a tiny splash of vanilla.
Assembly
  1. Spoon a little filling onto the wide part of each triangle.
  2. Add a spoonful of blueberries on top of the cream cheese.
  3. Fold the corners up a bit so it feels danish-like and holds the filling.
Baking
  1. Bake until puffed and golden, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Serving
  1. Cool for a few minutes, then drizzle with a quick icing if desired.

Notes

Do not overfill the pastries to avoid spillage. Use parchment paper for easy cleanup and allow to cool for a few minutes before glazing.
