Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 24 oz Frozen dumplings (pork or other varieties) Any type of frozen dumplings can be used.
  • 28 oz Marinara sauce Classic sauce; can mix with Alfredo for a creamier texture.
  • 16 oz Shredded mozzarella cheese Essential for a cheesy top layer.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Sprinkle kind for topping.
Seasonings and Add-ins
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning For flavor enhancement.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder Optional for extra flavor.
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 cups Optional vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, peppers) For additional nutrition and flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Start with a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  3. Place a single layer of frozen dumplings over the sauce.
  4. Add more marinara sauce over the dumplings followed by a layer of shredded mozzarella.
  5. Repeat this layering process until all ingredients are used, making sure not to overflow the dish.
Baking
  1. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 35-45 minutes, until the dumplings are tender.
  2. Remove the foil for the last 10 minutes to get a golden, bubbly top.
  3. Let the dish sit for 10 minutes before serving to allow layers to settle.

Notes

This dish is very flexible; feel free to swap sauces and cheeses as available. Make sure there's enough sauce to keep dumplings moist while baking.
