- Stir in taco seasoning and Rotel. Add beans if you want more bulk.
- Turn heat to low. Stir in sour cream and the condensed soup until creamy and combined.
Layering
- In a 9x13 dish, add a layer of slightly crushed Doritos.
- Spoon on half the meat mixture, then sprinkle cheese.
- Repeat with Doritos, remaining filling, and more cheese on top.
Baking
- Bake for 18 to 25 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
- Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
To ensure the perfect texture, do not over crush the chips, allow the meat mixture to cool slightly before adding sour cream, and rest the casserole before serving.
