Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the bread about half an inch thick.
  2. Brush both sides of each slice lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
Toasting
  1. Bake the bread at 375°F (190°C) until golden, about 8 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  2. Optionally, rub warm toasted bread with a peeled garlic clove for extra flavor.
