Preparation
- Lightly spray the crock pot insert for easier cleanup.
- Lay the chicken in the bottom of the crock pot. If thick, cut them in half for even cooking.
- In a bowl, stir together the cream soup and sour cream, then spread it over the chicken.
- In another bowl, mix the stuffing mix with broth until evenly moistened and has a crumbly texture.
- Spoon the stuffing over the chicken in an even layer without pressing it down.
Cooking
- Cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, depending on thickness of chicken and crock pot type.
- When done, fluff the stuffing with a fork, and mix in a bit if a creamier texture is desired.
Notes
For added balance, consider adding veggies like frozen green beans under the chicken. To reheat, add a splash of broth if it looks dry.
