  • 1 cup broccoli florets Optional
  • 1 cup spinach Stir in at the end
  • 1 jalapeƱo diced Optional for heat

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
Cooking
  1. Stir in the sweet corn and any additional vegetables you wish to add (bell peppers, broccoli, etc.) and cook for a few minutes to combine the flavors.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  3. Slowly add the cream (or milk) to the skillet, stirring continuously until the sauce is heated through.
Finishing Touches
  1. Fold the cooked pasta into the skillet and gently combine until every bowtie is coated with the sauce.
  2. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Let it rest for a minute for the cheese to melt.

Notes

For best results, cook pasta to al dente and save some pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed. You can also customize with various vegetables or add-ins.
